Welcome to the Three Compasses
A truly authentic English pub, full of character and tradition.
Pat, Andrea and team welcome you to
The Three Compasses, Upper Dean
The Three Compasses is situated in the picturesque village of Upper Dean, near Huntingdon. This 17th Century Inn has all the character you would expect, with traditional thatched roof, beamed ceilings as well as open fireplaces to relax in front of on those cold winter months.
The Three Compasses, Upper Dean offers a relaxing environment, where you will enjoy a warm welcome, award winning Wells and Young's real ales, fine wines, quality food and a friendly service.
Along with our standard menu the emphasis is on home-cooked, honest tasty food, which is produced by Andrea, the Landlady. With much of the menu home made, produce is sourced locally where possible. Steaks are a speciality here with them being cooked
exactly how you like them!
Sunday Lunches
We also offer ever changing daily specials to suit everyone's pallet. Every Sunday we serve a traditional Sunday Roast with a choice of three meats and all the trimmings
from 12pm -2.30pm.
Real Ales
Landlord, Pat, prides himself on the quality of the Real Ale served at the Three Compasses, with Wells Eagle IPA and Wells Bombardier always available,
as well as the occasional guest ale.
We also offer a good selection of fine wines from Cockburn and Campbell which are available by the glass and bottle.
Traditional Pub Games
Throughout the year we hold regular events, check out our events page for more details. Skittles teams play regularly at the pub and members are being sought for a Cribbage team to play in a competitive league.
We have a secure large beer garden, as well as large car park.
In the winter we are closed all day and evening on Tuesday.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
Pat and Andrea Bentley
